Read directly from public blockchain networks via node/RPC/explorer endpoints — never copied from a third-party analytics product.

On-chain Metrics

Calculated by KRYPTAION from blockchain data. Network activity level compares the latest value to the median of the last 6+ stored samples for the same chain: below 0.5× median is LOW, up to 1.25× is NORMAL, up to 2× is ELEVATED, above that is HIGH; fewer than 6 samples shows INSUFFICIENT HISTORY.

DEX Data

Calculated from events and state of specifically verified liquidity pools — never from an aggregator.

Market Data

External market feeds are used only after their licensing terms are checked and approved — see the Market section's source table.

Regulatory Data

Only official sources — EU institutions, EUR-Lex, ESMA, EBA, AMLA, ECB, Eurostat.

Sanctions Data

Only official designation sources — EU sanctions resources, OFAC.

KRYPTAION's own analytical indicators always have a published methodology and are never presented as an official or government-established measure.

1. KRYPTAION separates factual data from analytical assessments.
2. Regulatory status is determined from official sources.
3. Sanctions designation is determined only from official sanctions sources.
4. Future risk scores will be KRYPTAION's own analytical indicators.
5. A risk score must not be interpreted as a risk level established by a government authority.
6. AI-generated analysis will be separately labelled in the future.
7. A change in price or volume observed after a regulatory or sanctions event is described as a correlation in time, not automatically presented as a cause.
